Career Day
Fourth grade students from Briscoe Academy toured Benavides Picture Framing and the One9Zero6 Gallery. During this visit, they learned about everything from what to look for when framing a piece of art, to the challenges and rewards of being a career artist, to interpreting the current exhibit in the gallery. Andy Benavides, SMART President and Founder, shares his experience on being a career artist during a question and answer session. Later that week SMART received a warm packet of "thank-you's" from the kids. This makes everything worth it!
